Other David documents the musical experiments of songwriter, singer, and multi-instrumentalist, David Russell. Navigating a spinning compass of influences, this project is a tribute to the sounds of yesteryear and the hopes of tomorrow. The tunes echo autobiographical anecdotes, realizing an increasingly tall stack of personal journals. Initially conceptualized as porch-side guitar medleys, the songs undergo bedroom studio layering and collage collaboration with fellow creators/friends. Lukewarm Coffee (2021), Underground Surfer (2022), and Tapdance Tornado (2025) are now among the growing constellation of the celestial jukebox.
